Rugged Coast Adventures is excited to be offering a new expedition this year to the Cap Bon peninsula in Tunisia. This is an advanced beginner to intermediate level sea kayaking holiday providing and all inclusive service whereby you will paddle this stunning coast by day and arrive in the evening to have camp set up and your tent and dinner waiting you in the evening as well a cold drinks (beer and wine also available at additional cost)).

The last day of your journey is a land based excursion in the city of Carthage as well as visiting Sidi Bau Said and a chance for a bit of shopping and visiting other attractions. We finish the last night with a optional visit to a traditional Hammam which has it's origins in Roman culture for a good old purge and clean leaving you fresh for your return journey.

Day 1 Arrive to Tunis Airport for transfer to Hotel in Kelibia and evening meal with introductions and mixer.

Day 2 After a quick review of kayak strokes in the morning we depart to our first destination which is the Punic settlement of Kirkouane which dates back to the 6th century BC. We will camp near here in the evening and visit the site in the afternoon or morning.
Distance 8.5 Nautical Miles.

Day 3 After an early breakfast we will visit this historical site and the museum and then get on the water by mid morning if we haven't visited it the previous afternoon. We will then paddle around the point of Cap Bon to El Haouaria and arrive at the camp.
Distance 11.34 NM.

Day 4 We paddle from El Haouaria to Sidi Doud with time for Snorkeling in the afternoon.
Distance 8 NM.

Day 5 We paddle from Sidi Doud to Tazoghrine.
Distance 12.3 NM

Day 6 We paddle from Tazoghrine to Soliman, stopping at the hot springs in Korbus along the way to Soliman where you will be transferred to your Tunis area hotel.

Day 7 You will do a historical guided tour of the city of Carthage followed by a visit to Sidi Bou Said and the Medina. In the evening you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Hammam (Bath house).

Day 8 Transfer to airport for departing flight.
